I would love to know how much Apple really are pushing the music companies to allow them to produce tracks DRM free - after-all DRM, does benefit Apple as far as going some way to tie people to their devices.</description>

They (well, Steve Jobs) have been quite vocal about wanting to provide DRM-free tracks:
