Am on my way to debrand (Voafone) an E61.
However, when I hit the “read” button in NSS 1.0.38.11 I get 'error'. Whilst I suspect its a driver issue, I was never prompted (and cannot bet XP to recognise) for "Federal 1 USB Device" drivers.
Connecting the phone I get "new device Nokia E61.." connected.
Have yet to find any postings repeating this issue. Thanks

@Hamsterpants: I'm pretty sure they're specific so you'd have to investigate what codes will work for your phone.

The products code provided for the E61, would that work for a E51 as well or does each model have its own specific to the language?

@Trovster - yes hence the need to use parallels, though I didn't make this very clear - I'll update the post.

Yeah Fring isn't the best software in the world though I quite like the fact that it allows calls on Skype.

Mig33 is nice for a free chat client but the sign-up and activation process was a bit of a pain.

I did this exact thing just the other day for my N95. Can't remember the tutorial, but it'll be easy to find. This is pretty much the same though. I wondered if you were going to mention NSS being Windows-only - annoying...

The N95 has push-to-talk, but I have no idea what the use of it is! I've installed Fring but that's a waste of time too. But it's good to get rid of the horrible branding. I also recommend getting the iPhone theme & RotateMe.
