SXSWi Panel Proposal: High-Performance Web Development Techniques | Comments (0)

Posted in Events on 9th September 2007, 10:30 am by Stuart

Ed Eliot and I have proposed a panel for the South By South West Interactive Festival to held in Austin March 2008.

Ed and I are hoping to be able to do a presentation on High-Performance Web Development Techniques. Our presentation will be loaded of plenty of practical tips and tricks that any developer will be able to use to increase the performance of their sites, from a personal blog through to huge corporate sites.

We’ll also be talking about how performance techniques can be integrated throughout the development process so that performance enhancements aren’t left to be made after the site’s gone live.

To vote for our panel please visit the SXSW panel picker. We’d really appreciate your vote!

Standalone mac battery charger|(0)

Got a spare mac battery? I’ve often wondered why up until now no-one’s produced a standalone charger so that you can charge batteries without having to plug them into the mac. Fortunately Fastmac.com have produced a standalone charger that allows you to do just that. and it’s compatible with iBooks, Powerbooks, macbooks and Macbook Pros. It’s also 110/200v. Exactly what I was looking for!
